Um
5:30 Uhr heute morgen rief der Wecker uns aus dem Tiefschlaf und eine
Stunde später waren wir bereit unsere Reise in den höchsten Norden Indiens anzutreten...
Pünktlich u m 6:30 Uhr holten uns Rinku und Kamal mit ihrem Toyota Innova ab
und auch Mahesh stand mit seiner Riksha vor dem Hotel um uns eine gute Reise zu
wünschen. : )
At 5:30 am this morning, the alarm clock woke us from deep sleep and an hour later, we were ready to start our journey to the utmost north of India... Punctually at 6:30 am Rinku and Kamal picked us up with their Toyota Innova and also Mahesh stood in front of the hotel with his riksha to wish us a good journey. : )

Im
Morgenverkehr bei leichtem Regen machten wir uns auf den Weg aus der Stadt und
etwas ausserhalb nahmen wir ein indisches Frühstück ein: Ghobi Pratha, ein
Fladenbrot mit Blumenkohl und die üblichen Zutaten wie Butter, Chutney und
Tunksaucen - mmmhhhhh!
In the morning traffic and with a light rain, we made our way out of the city and when we had left the city and the worst traffic, we took an Indian breakfast: Ghobi Pratha, a flatbread with cauliflower and the usual ingredients like butter, chutney and different dips - mmmhhhhh!

Heute
nahmen wir gemäss Rinku und Kamal die langweiligste und längste Strecke unter
die Räder... das meiste auf der Autobahn oder Überlandstrassen. Der Toyota
Innova ist ein sehr bequemes Auto, unterwegs konnte ich mit Kamals
Internet am Blog arbeiten und etwas nachschlafen - und alles in sehr
vergnüglicher und witziger Begleitung!
Today, according to Rinku and Kamal, we would travel the most boring and longest distance... mostly on highways. The Toyota Innova is a very comfortable car, on the road I was able to work with Kamal's Internet on my blog and catch up with some sleep - and all in a very fun and witty company!

So um 19
Uhr nach 12 1/2 Stunden und 485 km erreichten wir unser Gasthaus Midway in
Rewalsar auf 2000 m. Und auch hier begann es aus Kübeln zu giessen als wir
aussteigen wollten. Als wir das Gepäck in unsere Zimmer verstaut hatten,
setzten wir uns auf unsere Terrasse und genossen die verregnete Aussicht bei
einem Apero... Das leckere Abendessen nahmen wir dann doch drinnen ein, der Regen
hatte die Luft ziemlich heruntergekühlt (so um 20 Grad).

Around 7 pm after 12 1/2
hours and 485 km we reached our guest house Midway in Rewalsar at 2000 m. And
here too, it just began to pour out of buckets when we wanted to get out of the
car. After having stowed our luggage in our rooms, we sat down on our terrace
and enjoyed the rainy view with an appetizer... Our delicious dinner we took
inside, as the rain had cooled down the air to around 20 centigrade.
