Wir wurden
hier im Sangaylay nicht nur wie Prinzessinnen behandelt, sondern schliefen auch
dementsprechend! : )

Das
Wetter ist einfach nur perfekt: Tagsüber 21 - 23 Grad (mit Sonne
sehr heiss) und am Abend um 17... es scheint als hätten wir das gute Wetter
mitgebracht, denn die ganze Woche vorher waren sogar die Flüge gestrichen
worden! Schon morgens war blauer Himmel, eitler Sonnenschein und angenehme 20
Grad, so dass wir unser Frühstück im Hotelgarten einnehmen konnten.
The weather was just
perfect: During the day 21 - 23 centigrade (with the sun very hot) and in the
evening around 17... it seems like we had brought the good weather with us,
because the whole week before even flights had been canceled! Already in the
morning there was blue sky, vain sunshine and pleasant 20 centigrade, so that
we could take our breakfast outside in the hotel garden.

Diese
beiden Tage nahmen wir uns Zeit auszuruhen, Sport zu treiben am Morgen, einen
Ausflug ins Nubra Valley zu organisieren und vor allem die Stadt Leh zu
entdecken... und einzukaufen... Ich musste eine grosse Tasche kaufen, damit ich
alles tragen konnte! Hier gibt es vor allem Schals zu kaufen: Yak (aus
Tibet), Ziege = Pashmina oder Kashmir (aus Kashmir und Nepal, aus Nepal ist die
Wolle dicker) - das ist was wir lernten.
These two days we took our
time to rest, doing some sports in the morning, organizing a trip to the Nubra
Valley and especially discovering the city of Leh... and shopping... I had to
buy a big bag to carry everything! There are mainly scarves for sale: Yak (from
Tibet), goat = Pashmina or Kashmir (from Kashmir and Nepal, from Nepal the wool
is thicker) - that's what we learned.

Ladakh
wird auch kleines Tibet genannt und hier leben viele Tibeter - für uns eine
Gelegenheit etwas anderes als indisch zu essen! Im Restaurant Gesmo genossen
wir Forellen (aus Manali) und im Tibetan Kitchen assen wir uns mit Praveen und
Gowssik durch das ganze Sortiment - seeehr lecker!

Ladakh is also called
Little Tibet and many Tibetans live here - for us an opportunity to eat something
else than Indian food. At the Gesmo restaurant we had trout (from Manali) and
at the Tibetan Kitchen we ate ourselves through the whole assortiment with
Praveen and Gowssik, who we had met at the Shanti Stupa - veeery
delicious!
